Pittsboro, NC - The Chatham County United Chamber of Commerce announces its annual Chatham Business EXPO, slated for October 24th, 2007. The event is open to the public. Admission is free. With the theme, "Linking Business and Community," the event this year is focused on introducing Chatham citizens to local businesses with a message to shop right here for essential goods and services
The EXPO will be held again at Pittsboro Ford, 1245 Thompson Street, Pittsboro. Exhibits open at 12:00 noon. In addition to raffles and door prize drawings each hour during the event, there are featured speakers and special events scheduled throughout the day.
• 4:00 – 5:00 - County Growth, presented by Paul Black, Triangle J
• 5:00 – 6:00 - Leadership, by General Jim Anderson
• 6:00 – 6:30 - Carnivore Preservation Trust presentation by Pam Fulk
• 6:30 – 8:00 - Business After Hours with snacks and beverages.
Business After Hours is sponsored by Carolina Brewery, Chatham Marketplace and Horizon Cellars.

Silver - ServPro and Chatham County Economic Development Corporation.
Many exhibitors have indicated they will provide samples of their wares. For example, Duke Center for Living will offer chair massages and a fitness class demonstration. Chatham Hospital will provide on-site health screening. Restaurant exhibitors will be offering tasting samples from their menu.
