Pittsboro – Andy’s Cheesesteaks and Cheeseburgers, one of the Southeast’s fastest growing “fast casual” restaurants headquartered in Mount Olive, is proud to announce that they have recently opened a new location in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
The Pittsboro restaurant is located at 987-G East Street and is the second Andy’s to open in Chatham County. A grand opening event and ribbon cutting will be held on Wednesday, April 4 and will include the official Andy’s mascot and Mayor Randy Voller. Nick Fritz, storeowner of the new Andy’s will also be present along with other town officials.
“The opening of the Pittsboro location goes along with our growth strategy of expanding into western North Carolina,” stated Andy’s president and founder, Kenney Moore. “As with any new store, we are very excited to open the new Pittsboro location and to bring a new Andy’s to this part of the state.”
Andy’s is known for its made-to-order cheesesteaks and burgers and their family friendly, unique 50’s-style atmosphere diners. Since Founder Kenney Moore opened the doors to the first Andy’s location in Goldsboro in 1991, the old fashioned Cheesesteaks and Cheeseburgers chain has grown to over 100 locations across North Carolina, with planned expansion across the state.
At Andy’s, guests are greeted by an energetic and friendly staff and offered a variety of fresh, made-to-order menu items. Their new, expansive menu features special Jukebox Triple Play items, hot cooked to order cheesesteaks and Andy’s burgers, thick milkshakes and fresh lemon- and orange-ades. Andy’s recently began their Big “A” Burger Challenge, which invites all guests to attempt to eat a 50-ounce burger in 30 minutes. Any customer who successfully achieves this receives their meal for free. Each Andy’s restaurant features an open grill where guests can watch the cooks prepare their food and enjoy the atmosphere of a fast-paced 50’s style diner.
