Pittsboro, NC - The 2009 music season starts this weekend at The City Tap in Pittsboro. Below is a schedule of music planned for this month.
Friday, April 3: Kudzu Rangers w/The Bad Mothers (Show starts at 7pm)
The Bad Mothers entertain with rock and Americana, followed by the acoustic/electric sounds of the Kudzu Rangers.
Saturday, April 4: Tommy Edwards, Snuffy Smith & John Worthington
Great bluegrass by local legends. Be there.
Sunday, April 5: Phil Blank, 3-5pm
First Sunday! Phil brings his klezmer band to the courtyard. You don't want to miss this!
Friday, April 10: Andrew Marlin
Fantastic original music from talented young songwriter Marlin and his band.
Saturday, April 11: Killer Filler
Perennial Tap favorites rock us out with their psycho surf. Bring your dancing shoes.
Friday, April 17: Jay Manley
Jay brings his unique Indian guitar/jazz styling to the courtyard. It will be memorable.
Saturday, April 18: See No Weevil
Funky grooves, blues and r&b are in store tonight with this swinging trio.
Friday, April 24: The Swang Brothers
You know you're in for a great time when The Swang Brothers play the courtyard. Their classic American tunes will have you dancing.
Please note: All bands play from 8-10pm unless noted. All events weather permitting. No cover charge but please be generous when we pass the hat!
