Pittsboro, NC - On Sunday, September 13th at 6pm, Fearrington will host in The Barn the celebration of The Chapel Hill Public Library's 50th Anniversary. The event, Long Story Short, is a once-in-a-Carolina-lifetime lineup of Chapel Hill's best writers alongside two show-stopping bands.
This is a party and a fundraiser for the library, hosted by D.G. Martin, with a sit-down BBQ supper, during which a lineup of writers have volunteered to share their best, funniest, most entertaining attempts at short short, stand-up fiction. Authors will include Will Blythe, Sarah Dessen, Michael Malone, Jill McCorkle, Lee Smith, Haven Kimmel and Daniel Wallace!
Music will be provided by The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Mandolin Orange and Midtown Dickens.
