Mild weather and sunny skies brought over 1000 folks out on the first day of the second annual Fearrington Folk Art Show. Visitors had a chance to view and purchase art from over thirty of the Southeast's finest folk artists.
Art lovers could browse the vast selection of art and meet the guest artists including Sam "The Dot Man" McMillan, Peter Loose, Benny Carter, Tom Blunt, Riley Foster, Rocky Wade, Chris Hubbard, and Clyde Jones. Paintings, paper-maiche objects, garden art, sculptures, furniture, and ornaments were on exhibit and available for sale at the show.
The event continues on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fearrington Barn.
The Folk Art Show is free and open to the public.
