Siler City, NC - The Chatham County Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) will host its annual meeting, Opportunity Chatham, at 7:30 am on May 12, 2009, at the Joan Fabrics Building at 1311 E. Eleventh Street (Highway 64) in Siler City. Tickets are on sale for $25 per person and $185 for each table of eight. Business sponsorships are also available.

Opportunity Chatham will feature North Carolina’s new Secretary of Commerce Keith Crisco discussing the future of the state’s job creation efforts and positioning North Carolina for economic recovery. In addition, the event will provide a snapshot of the local economy and also will establish benchmark standards for evaluating future success in implementing Chatham County’s strategic economic development plan.
