2010 Spring Football Practice Preview
Carolina has made consecutive bowl trips for the first time since the late 1990s and will look to continue that streak when they start the season vs. LSU in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff in Atlanta. But before the season unfolds, the Tar Heels have work to do this spring. They must replace two starters on the defensive line, rework the offensive line and improve their special teams play.

Spring Football Outlook
The theme for NC State spring football this year, and every year under head coach Tom O'Brien, is "Back to Basics." O'Brien and his staff use the 15 practices they are allotted during the spring to help each individual player get better.
lt;br /> "As individuals improve, the team improves," says O'Brien, who is entering his fourth season at the helm of the Wolfpack. "We will spend a great deal of time working on the fundamentals of football because we have to be a much better team fundamentally than we were a year ago."
